BridgeWell Health LLC (“BridgeWell,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a technology-enabled weight-care platform that may include educational content, care navigation, payment processing, lifestyle support, and access to independent licensed healthcare professionals through clinical partners. BridgeWell is not an emergency medical service, hospital, pharmacy, drug manufacturer, or health insurer.
Not Emergency Care
BridgeWell is not appropriate for medical emergencies or urgent medical conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, including chest pain, trouble breathing, severe allergic reaction, fainting, severe abdominal pain, signs of stroke, suicidal thoughts, severe dehydration, or any rapidly worsening condition, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Messages, portal requests, refill requests, emails, SMS messages, and support channels are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent or emergency care.
No Medical Advice From Website Content
Information on the BridgeWell website, advertisements, intake flow, blog, emails, text messages, social media, and member portal is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare professional.
You should not start, stop, or change any medication, diet, exercise plan, or treatment program based solely on information provided by BridgeWell’s general content. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your individual medical needs.
Independent Clinical Providers
Medical services, including diagnosis, treatment decisions, medication prescribing, lab review, clinical follow-up, and medical advice, are provided only by independent licensed healthcare professionals or clinical partners, where available and legally permitted.
BridgeWell does not control, direct, or interfere with the independent medical judgment of licensed clinicians. A clinician may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for you, that additional information is required, that an in-person evaluation is needed, or that no medication should be prescribed.
No Provider-Patient Relationship Until Clinician Acceptance
Using the BridgeWell website, completing a fit check, creating an account, paying a consultation fee, selecting a preferred treatment, or submitting intake information does not automatically create a provider-patient relationship.
A provider-patient relationship is established only when a licensed healthcare professional reviews your information, determines that telehealth care is appropriate, accepts you as a patient, and provides clinical services in accordance with applicable law.
State Availability and Licensure
BridgeWell services are available only where permitted by law and where participating licensed clinicians are authorized to provide care. You must be physically located in a state where the applicable clinical service is available at the time you receive care.
Telehealth rules vary by state. Clinicians using telehealth are generally expected to meet the same standard of care as in-person care, and state licensure requirements depend on the patient’s location.
Prescription Medication Disclaimer
Prescription medication is not guaranteed. Medication is prescribed only if a licensed clinician determines that it is medically appropriate for you after reviewing your health information.
BridgeWell does not guarantee that you will qualify for GLP-1 medication, a specific medication, a specific dose, a refill, a shipment, or a particular treatment outcome. Your clinician may recommend lifestyle changes, lab work, follow-up care, an in-person evaluation, or referral to another provider instead of medication.
GLP-1 Medication Risk Notice
GLP-1 and related medications may help some patients with weight management when clinically appropriate, but they are not suitable for everyone and may cause side effects. Possible side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, reflux, reduced appetite, fatigue, dehydration, low blood sugar, gallbladder problems, pancreatitis, allergic reactions, and other serious adverse events.
You must provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, prior weight-loss treatment, endocrine history, gastrointestinal history, kidney or liver disease, diabetes status, and any other relevant health condition.
Seek medical attention immediately if you experience severe or persistent abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, symptoms of dehydration, severe allergic reaction, fainting, confusion, severe weakness, or any symptom that feels urgent or dangerous.
Compounded Medication Notice
If a compounded medication is prescribed, it is prepared by a licensed pharmacy pursuant to an individualized prescription from a licensed clinician. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed.
BridgeWell does not represent that any compounded medication is a generic version of, identical to, interchangeable with, or clinically equivalent to any FDA-approved branded medication.
You should use any prescribed medication only as directed by your clinician and pharmacy. Do not change your dose, frequency, route of administration, or titration schedule without clinician guidance.
FDA-Approved Medication Notice
If an FDA-approved medication is prescribed, use of that medication remains subject to clinician judgment, availability, pharmacy fulfillment, labeling, contraindications, insurance coverage, cost, and applicable law. Brand-name medications may not be available, affordable, covered by insurance, or clinically appropriate for every patient.
Results May Vary
Weight-care outcomes vary by individual. BridgeWell does not guarantee weight loss, a specific number of pounds lost, appetite reduction, improved lab values, medication approval, medication tolerance, long-term maintenance, or any particular health outcome.
Testimonials, reviews, examples, and before-and-after style statements, if used, reflect individual experiences only and should not be interpreted as typical, guaranteed, or expected results.
Lifestyle, Nutrition, and Movement Support
BridgeWell may provide nutrition, movement, habit-building, maintenance, and educational support. Unless specifically stated, this support is not a substitute for medical nutrition therapy, behavioral health treatment, physical therapy, personal medical advice, or care from your primary care provider or specialist.
Patients with medical conditions, injuries, eating disorder history, pregnancy, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, or other health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing diet, exercise, or medication routines.
Payment and Medication Billing Notice
BridgeWell may charge a separate consultation, platform, membership, or administrative fee as disclosed at checkout. Paying a fee does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.
Where BridgeWell allows you to select a preferred medication, that selection is a treatment preference for clinician review and is not a medication purchase. Medication will not be prescribed, charged, shipped, or continued unless approved by a licensed clinician and processed in accordance with BridgeWell’s payment, consent, and pharmacy procedures.
All pricing, billing, refund, cancellation, and subscription terms are governed by BridgeWell’s posted payment terms at the time of purchase.
Pharmacy, Lab, and Third-Party Services
BridgeWell may coordinate with third-party clinical partners, pharmacies, laboratories, payment processors, technology vendors, and other service providers. These third parties may be independently responsible for the services they provide.
Medication availability, shipment timing, refill timing, lab processing, pharmacy dispensing, and clinical response times may vary and are not fully controlled by BridgeWell.
Privacy and Health Information
BridgeWell and its clinical partners collect, use, transmit, and store information as described in applicable privacy notices, consent forms, and policies. Telehealth appointments, messages, health information, and billing information may be protected by federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA where applicable.
No internet-based platform, email, SMS, or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and using a secure device and network when accessing BridgeWell services.
Patient Responsibilities
By using BridgeWell, you agree to provide complete, truthful, and accurate information. You also agree to promptly update your clinician about changes in your health, medications, pregnancy status, side effects, allergies, emergency care, hospitalizations, or new diagnoses.
You are responsible for following clinician and pharmacy instructions, reading medication information, storing medication safely, using supplies correctly, attending required follow-ups, and seeking emergency or in-person care when appropriate.
No Insurance Guarantee
BridgeWell does not guarantee insurance coverage, reimbursement, prior authorization approval, or payment by any health plan. Unless clearly stated otherwise, BridgeWell fees may be cash-pay and may not be reimbursable by insurance.
Platform Availability
BridgeWell may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform, services, pricing, medication options, pharmacy relationships, or clinical partner relationships at any time, subject to applicable law and patient-care obligations.
