Everything you need to know about BridgeWell — plans, phases, billing, and more.
BridgeWell + CareValidate
BridgeWell supports the non-clinical health journey: account access, billing status, reminders, movement, nutrition, and long-term program support. BridgeWell does not handle clinical intake, provider review, or prescribing.
CareValidate handles clinical intake, provider review, and medical records. Licensed CareValidate clinicians review your intake and decide whether medically supervised treatment is clinically appropriate.
Sensitive clinical information belongs in CareValidate's secure clinical environment — never on BridgeWell's public site. BridgeWell will route you to CareValidate's secure intake when clinical information is needed.
No. Payment does not guarantee a prescription, treatment, or clinical approval. Clinical decisions are made by licensed CareValidate clinicians during their secure clinical review. If treatment isn't clinically appropriate, BridgeWell's non-clinical support layer is still available.
After checkout, BridgeWell guides you to CareValidate's secure clinical intake. Once the CareValidate provider review is complete, you return to BridgeWell's Today Hub for daily non-clinical support — movement, nutrition, reminders, and long-term progress.
No. Clinical questions belong in CareValidate's secure clinical portal. BridgeWell support is for billing, account access, movement, nutrition, and general non-clinical support. Clinical messages sent to BridgeWell are routed to the secure clinical portal.
GLP-1 access & how BridgeWell is different
No. Medication is never guaranteed. A licensed clinician at our independent clinical partner reviews your information and determines whether treatment is medically appropriate. BridgeWell does not prescribe and does not guarantee a prescription or any specific result.
Not today. Up front you pay only the $39.00 Medical Consultation Fee. Your card is saved securely, and medication is charged later only if a licensed clinician approves treatment, the medication price is confirmed, and you choose to continue.
Many programs focus on fast access. BridgeWell focuses on access plus the support patients need during and after weight loss — protein and nutrition guidance, strength and movement support, refill and care continuity, and maintenance planning. A licensed clinician still decides whether medication is appropriate, and medication is never guaranteed.
BridgeWell builds protein-first nutrition and strength-focused movement guidance into the program from the start, so you can support the strength and function that matter while you lose weight. BridgeWell does not guarantee any specific outcome, and your clinician reviews what's appropriate for you. Results vary.
Tapering or stopping medication is a clinical decision made with your clinician through our clinical partner. Published clinical-trial data shows many people regain weight after stopping GLP-1 medication without structured support, so BridgeWell's taper-readiness and Maintain support — nutrition, coaching, and movement — are designed for that phase. Individual results vary.
There's no fixed answer — it's a clinical decision your clinician makes with you. Some members stay on GLP-1 medication long-term, which is a valid choice; others taper off over time. BridgeWell supports both paths and plans for maintenance from the start.
Coming off GLP-1 medication is a clinician-supervised decision — a planned taper, not abrupt stopping. BridgeWell's Maintain support, including a clinician-supervised Taper phase, surrounds that transition with nutrition, coaching, and movement to help your results hold. Individual results vary.
No. BridgeWell does not replace your clinician and does not provide medical advice. Clinical care, prescribing, and medical decisions are handled by licensed clinicians through our independent clinical partner. BridgeWell provides non-clinical nutrition, movement, coaching, reminder, billing, and maintenance support.
Clinic-based programs & telehealth
No. BridgeWell is a telehealth-first GLP-1 weight-loss support platform — there is no BridgeWell clinic to visit. Clinical review and treatment decisions are handled by licensed clinicians through our independent clinical partner; BridgeWell supports the experience around scheduling, billing, education, nutrition, movement, and maintenance.
Clinic-based programs can be a strong fit for people who want weekly in-person visits. BridgeWell is built for people who want medical review, medication access when appropriate, and long-term lifestyle support from home — without the clinic commute. See our comparison page for a side-by-side.
No. BridgeWell does not prescribe and does not guarantee a prescription. Licensed clinicians through our clinical partner review your information and decide whether treatment is appropriate.
Yes. BridgeWell's nutrition, movement, and coaching support is designed to work with or without medication. If treatment isn't appropriate for you, you still get a real plan and a real support team.
BridgeWell is currently a self-pay program. Insurance coverage for clinical care, medication, or labs may vary and is not guaranteed through BridgeWell. Our clinical partner can coordinate with insurance where coverage exists.
Some members may be able to use HSA or FSA funds for eligible medical expenses. Eligibility depends on your plan rules, and BridgeWell does not guarantee reimbursement — check with your plan administrator.
About the program
GLP-1 receptor agonists are a class of medications that influence appetite, satiety, and gastric emptying. In clinical trials, they have shown clinically meaningful weight-loss outcomes for many patients when prescribed appropriately and combined with lifestyle support. Whether they are right for any individual is a medical decision a licensed clinician makes during evaluation through CareValidate.
BridgeWell is designed for adults seeking a structured, supported, evaluation-first approach to medically supervised weight management. Many members are evaluated for GLP-1 therapy by a licensed clinician at our independent clinical partner; treatment is prescribed only when clinically appropriate. Members who don't meet the medical criteria still get the BridgeWell nutrition, coaching, and movement support layer.
A board-certified clinician at our clinical partner. BridgeWell coordinates your overall experience but does not prescribe — the medical intake review and prescribing decision are made by the clinical partner clinician.
No. The clinical partner runs a 100% telehealth practice for the medical track; BridgeWell hosts your coaching, nutrition, movement, and progress tracking inside the same app, also fully online.
Plans & phases
Three: BridgeWell Start, BridgeWell Taper, and BridgeWell Maintain. Each plan is scoped to a specific lifecycle stage of GLP-1-supported weight management.
BridgeWell Taper supports members transitioning down from active GLP-1 treatment while protecting healthy habits. Clinician-supervised dose reduction is handled through CareValidate; BridgeWell layers in registered-dietitian check-ins, behavior coaching, and movement programming to hold the results while medication ramps down.
BridgeWell Maintain is the long-term phase after active treatment — ongoing coaching, nutrition support, movement programming, and relapse monitoring designed to help your results hold for the years that actually decide outcomes. Many members use Maintain indefinitely as a metabolic-health membership.
Yes. Plan transitions are seamless and typically happen when the clinical partner clinician and your BridgeWell coach agree the lifecycle phase fits.
Billing
Just the one-time $39.00 BridgeWell Medical Consultation Fee. That covers your BridgeWell program enrollment, care-team match, profile setup, and orientation. Clinical visits, prescription, and pharmacy fulfillment are billed separately by our clinical partner.
Your BridgeWell account, program setup, nutrition and movement support, and coordination of your care with the clinical partner. The $39.00 is BridgeWell's only charge.
Medication and clinical costs are separate and are determined through the clinical partner and pharmacy process. The Medical Consultation Fee is not a payment for medication, for a prescription, or for clinical approval.
Yes. The BridgeWell fit quiz is free and does not require an account or payment to start. You only enter the BridgeWell enrollment flow if you choose to after seeing your fit result.
After you complete the free fit quiz and see your personalized fit result. The $39.00 BridgeWell Medical Consultation Fee is collected at the start of the enrollment step — never before the quiz, and never to view your fit result.
Today you pay only the $39.00 Medical Consultation Fee. Your card is saved securely, but no medication charge is made today. If a licensed clinician approves treatment, the final medication and price are confirmed before any medication charge.
Your clinical partner clinician. The specific medication options, formats, and dosing protocols are explained during their clinical review. BridgeWell does not direct prescribing.
No. Clinical services and medication are billed by our clinical partner. BridgeWell's only charge is the one-time Medical Consultation Fee.
No. Selecting a medication is a preference that helps your clinician understand what you're interested in. It is not a purchase, and no medication charge is made when you choose. Medication is billed only after a licensed clinician reviews your information, confirms that treatment is appropriate, and your medication price is confirmed.
Never today. You pay only the $39.00 Medical Consultation Fee up front. Your card is saved securely, and medication is charged later only if your clinician confirms a treatment plan and the medication price is confirmed first.
Compounded medications are not approved by the FDA. Your clinician determines whether a treatment option is appropriate for you. BridgeWell does not prescribe; all clinical decisions are made by the licensed clinical partner.
Refills continue only with ongoing clinician review — medication is never shipped automatically without clinical approval. Your clinical partner manages prescriptions and refills; BridgeWell handles your account, billing, reminders, and ongoing nutrition and movement support.
Side effects & support
Yes. GLP-1 treatment can affect appetite, digestion, hydration, energy, and nutrition. Your clinician reviews your history and decides whether treatment is appropriate, and BridgeWell supports the full journey with guidance around protein intake, movement, and long-term habits. Results vary.
BridgeWell supports nutrition, movement, and long-term habits alongside medical care — protein-first nutrition guidance, movement support, and maintenance coaching — so you can protect strength and long-term progress, whether or not medication is prescribed.
Rapid weight loss can reduce both fat and lean tissue, so BridgeWell builds protein-first nutrition and strength-focused movement into the program from the start. The goal is to help you keep the strength and function that matter while you lose weight. BridgeWell does not guarantee any specific outcome, and your clinician reviews what's appropriate for you.
Outcomes & maintenance
Published clinical-trial data shows that, on average, patients regain up to two-thirds of lost weight within one year of stopping GLP-1 medication without structured support. BridgeWell's Maintain plan and Taper phase are designed to address this risk through clinician-supervised tapering and ongoing nutrition, coaching, and movement support — though individual results vary.
As long as it's useful. Many members use Maintain indefinitely as a long-term metabolic health membership — with ongoing coaching, nutrition support, and relapse monitoring.
Losing the weight is the start, not the finish. BridgeWell's Taper phase and Maintain plan are built for what comes next — clinician-supervised tapering through our clinical partner, plus ongoing nutrition, coaching, and movement support to help the result hold over the long run. Individual results vary.
Privacy & security

No. Even under employer-sponsored plans, individual health data is never shared with employers. Employers receive aggregate outcome reporting only.
